Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson as the Chillicothe ironworker on 20 February 1937. She was the daughter of Lillian Ryan worked as housekeeper. Nancy was the youngest of six kids. Cannonball Adderley told her that she needed to relocate into New York to further her career, and she moved there to The Big Town to begin her career in the year 1959. The agent of Adderley heard about her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. within a month of her arrival in New York City. In 1960, he enlisted her to Capitol Records, and that the same year, she debuted her first single. Guess Who? Capitol released five Nancy Wilson albums within two years. At first, she focused on rhythm and blues, under Adderley's influence she moved away from R&B and began to embrace jazz and torch songs.
