Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson, a jazz musician and three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on the 20th of February, 1937. She was married to Olden Wilson an ironworker who had worked for a long period as a housekeeper. Nancy Wilson was the first child of six. Nancy was influenced by her father's musical tastes and records played in the family home. When she was young she was already able to establish an idea of who she was and what she hoped to accomplish. The church choir was instrumental in developing her talent. In her early teens when she was 15, she got a spot on the talent show on T.V. and began appearing on The Skyline Melodies Tv Show while still in High School. The singer began performing in nightclubs at the similar age. Nancy was kicked out of Central State University in Ohio after she matriculated for an entire year. In 1956, she recorded her debut record as part of Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band with who she performed on tour between 1956 until 1958. As part of the group, Nancy released her first record on Dot Records. Cannonball advised her to move to New York and go to The Big Town for the rest of her singing career. Within one month, she got a job singing in The Blue Morocco Night Club situated on Boston Road in The Bronx where Adderley's agent heard her, and she was signed. Her debut on the recording stage came in 1960 by releasing one single following an agreement with Capitol Records. Guess who I saw today. Her albums were a hit and Capitol issued 5 Nancy Wilson albums in two years. Under Adderley Wilson's direction, she began to focus on R&B however she soon switched to jazz and torch music. Nancy Wilson's 1962 collaboration in 1962 with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top, and the year 1963 saw her scoring her first success with Tell Me the Truth. This performance helped her land a gig at the New York Coconut Grove in 1963, America's most popular nightclub.
Maisie Richson-Sellers, a British TV and film actress, is well known for her character as Chloe Winthrop in the The Kissing Booth, a Netflix movie. In the year 2015, Korr Sella was a part of part of the cast in Short Wars The Force Awakens. She was then cast as Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's Original films The Kissing Booth Season 2/3.
