Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson, a jazz musician and a three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on the 20th of February, 1937. She was married to Olden Wilson an ironworker who was employed for a lengthy period as housekeeper. Nancy Wilson was only baby of six. Her father was a musician and would play records at home. This was a major influence on her as a child. Nancy knew that she was going to be a singer at the age of four years old and developed her talents by participating in the choir at church. When she was still in high school, she appeared regularly on Skyline Melodies. Around the same time she started working in nightclubs. Nancy was a high school graduate aged 17 and enrolled in Ohio's Central State College, now Central State University for a entire year. She then dropped out to pursue a profession as a professional musician. Her first recording was with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. The group performed from 1956 until 1958. Nancy began recording for Dot Records in 1956, when she was part of the band. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she make the move in New York so as to increase her chances of success. In 1959 she moved into The Big Town. In less than a month, she was singing in The Blue Morocco Night Club which is located at Boston Road near The Bronx. Adderley's representative heard her sing and immediately signed her. The agent he was working with signed her up to Capitol in 1960. She made her debut that year. Guess Who I Stopped Today. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a two-year period. After Adderley's influences she shifted her focus to R&B into jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 was instrumental to make her a star and her smash hit Tell Me the Truth was made available in the year 1963. The following year, she was invited to perform at New York's Coconut Grove, the most sought-after club in America.
Maisie is an English TV as well as film actor. She is best known as the actress who played Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth. In the role of the King Saul Israel's daughter Michal in the ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. The actress has appeared in several famous TV series, including The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow. Maisie was born on March 2, 1992 in England. Joy Richardson is her mother. She attended private school and received her degree from Oxford University. Her degree is in Archaeology and Anthropology. Maisie began her acting career with the film Our First World, released in the year 2012. Maisie was featured in the short movie Americano and Rum as Ellie in the year 2013. She played a cameo in the film as Korr Sella, on Short Wars: Forces Awakening in 2015. She played Chloe Winthrop in Netflix's original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 and 3.
